This is probably one of my favorite charcuterie boards to make. It’s fun, delicious, easy to put together, and such a classy twist on St. Patrick’s Day! And the best part is that it’s a major crowd pleaser and pretty allergen friendly–you could easily swap the stroopwafels for a gluten/dairy free alternative. It’s hard to find someone who doesn’t like caramel apples! If you’re planning a game night, movie night, or any kind of get together this month, try this classy and elevated St. Patrick’s Day snack!
Here’s what you’ll need to make it:
- Granny Smith apples, some sliced, some whole
- Mini stroopwafels
- Werther’s caramels
- Mini marshmallows
- Caramel sauce (I used this recipe, but you could buy it too!)
Pour caramel sauce into a small decorative bowl and place in the middle of the board. Arrange whole Granny Smith apples in clusters on either end of the board. Fill in the rest of the board with groups of the other ingredients until it’s full. Other ideas for add ins: Biscoff cookies, green grapes, Rolos, pretzels, and anything else you like to dip in caramel!
Thanks for stopping by, and let me know if you try it!
